"We chose the name 'Expandable Language' to reflect the ever-evolving technologies used by our customers — the markup languages HTML and XML," said Terence Parker, president of Expandable Language. "Under this new name we will release applications that meet the increasing complexities of these technologies, focussing on the automation of web site repair and maintenance." Parker & Associates' first product, HTML Rename!, will now be sold under the Expandable Language name. HTML Rename! assists in migrating web sites from a development environment to a CD-ROM or remote server by changing file names (case, length, and invalid characters) and fixing corresponding links in HTML code.
