Our Goals

The mission of Expandable Language® is to provide you with applications that make your life easier. We will communicate with you to announce relevant, useful information, not to make your life more cluttered and difficult. The following policies reflect these goals.

Anti-Spam Statement

Expandable Language opposes the use of unsolicited commercial email and mass posting to inappropriate newsgroups (spam) as an advertising method. Our company does not send email to persons who are not customers or who have not otherwise requested contact from our staff nor does our company post advertisements to unrelated newsgroups. If you receive any unsolicited commercial email that appears to be from Expandable Language or an employee of Expandable Language, please notify us immediately.

Expandable Language will investigate all instances of email that appears to originate from Expandable Language. If we find other persons or entities using our name inappropriately, we will contact our lawyers and take all feasible legal action.

Protecting Your Email Address

We will never sell or otherwise provide your email address to an outside party without first obtaining your prior consent. We do not anticipate ever doing this.

Privacy Statement

Expandable Language will ask you explicitly when we need information that identifies you. For example, we may request information when you subscribe to a newsletter, when your register as a beta user, and when you purchase a product. You will always be presented with the choice to decline from submitting your personal information.

Expandable Language uses your personal information to announce product upgrades, new products, and other relevant news, and to contact you when necessary (for example, to respond to a bug report).

You will always be able to cancel our informational mailings when so desired. The Expandable Language web site will provide you with the instructions required to remove yourself from our mailing lists.

You may also terminate the delivery of our informational mailings by following the Unsubscribe instructions in the email or by sending a reply to that effect to the sender's email address.

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site (for example, to determine the need for mirror sites). We also use your IP address to gather broad demographic information (for example, to monitor visitor traffic by country).

Expandable Language will be entitled to disclose personal information if so required by law or in the bona fide belief that this is necessary to comply with the conditions of the law or a legal process served on Expandable Language in order to protect or defend Expandable Language, and to protect the personal safety of the staff of Expandable Language or the general public.

Opt-In Mailing List

For visitors to this site, our mailing lists are run on an "opt-in" basis. When you purchase a product we subscribe you to our lists and send you a purchase confirmation email which allows you to immediately opt-out of future mailings.
